Prestwick-based aerospace consultancy Inter-Tec Services is moving to bigger premises and will create ten jobs after it achieved regulatory approval to certify the airworthiness of aircraft.
The endorsement by the European Aviation Safety Agency allows the aerospace firm to expand their domestic and European markets and to further penetrate the growing Middle East and Asian markets, it said.
Managing director Fred Gorrie said: “This enhances our reputation in the sector as a highly competent provider of design and certification services. I am confident it will help fuel growth and lead to additional engineering jobs in the area.”
Currently the 15-year-old company works with BAE Systems Regional Aircraft, Eurocopter UK and Icelandair Technical Services
