Nicolson brings experience of a different kind of brew to Barr

BREWING industry veteran John Nicolson is to join the board of Irn-Bru maker AG Barr. Scots jam maker seals major deal with Tesco

ARBROATH-based Mackays has won a major deal with Tesco to supply jams and preserves to hundreds of the supermarket group’s stores across the UK. Construction firm in receivership

BROWN Construction, based in Dundee, has collapsed under mounting debts, leading to the loss of about 130 jobs. Derek Hyslop and Colin Dempster of Ernst & Young have been appointed joint receivers of the company and its subsidiary Bronco Timber Products at the request of the directors ({http://www.scotsman.com/business/banking/construction-firm-in-receivership-1-2478823|Scotsman|Scotsman}).

VisitScotland ploughs £3m into autumn marketing drive

BDL starts work on 100-room Shetland hotel

BDL Management is building a new 100-room hotel on Shetland to capitalise on the burgeoning energy sector off the west coast of the island. Pinnacle hits new heights after virtual desktop deal
