A COMPANY launched by a frustrated mum to supply sticky labels for children’s clothes and toys has unveiled plans to launch international franchises.
Ann-Maree Morrison set up Labels4Kids in 2004 after her three boys kept losing their possessions and coming home with other children’s belongings.
Her Stirling-based firm now turns over about £290,000 a year, and Morrison expects a 20 per cent revenue boost by working with franchisees abroad.
The company recently launched a French-language website, which is boosting sales by about 10 per cent and has helped her to build up a customer base of around 17,000 people.
Morrison said: “The next step for the business is strengthening our foothold in individual countries. It is a very exciting time for the business.”
