WINNING a string of contracts with local councils in England has put Glasgow-based Document Outsourcing on course to double its turnover to £30 million in 2015.
Local authorities in Gateshead, Rochdale and Staffordshire have chosen the firm to handle bills and statements on their behalf.
In total, the company has won £2m worth of contracts recently. This also includes work for British Steel Pensions, Debt Recovery Plus and Intercredit International.
Managing director Neil McCallum said: “I have spent the past two years ensuring we have the right people, systems and equipment in place in order to allow us to continue to deliver a high-quality service and build upon the solid foundations that we have laid so far. This will ensure our target of increasing turnover to £30m by 2015 is achieved.”
Document Outsourcing has invested £250,000 in extending its Warrington production site and upgrading equipment at its Bellshill and Warrington bases.
The firm has also opened sales offices in Birmingham and Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and expects to recruit a dozen staff to cope with the new contracts.
Accounts filed at Companies House showed the company, which employs about 60 staff, turned over £9.6m in the year to 31 March and narrowed its losses to £53,000 from £498,000. McCallum said sales will hit £14m in its current financial year.
